Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to the Facilities Industry
The Level 1 introduction to the Facilities Industry is a qualification available to all that work or wish to work in the facilities industry. Individuals can choose the skills they want to focus on and get a greater undertaking for topics ranging from managing waste, infection control, sustainable use of resources and cleaning in specialised areas, such as servicing of rooms and removing graffiti.
Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning Principles, Knowledge & Skills
This knowledge-based qualification will provide learners with a range of underpinning knowledge in both generic and specialist cleaning principles including infection control and meets the needs of learners who work or want to work in the cleaning or facilities sector.
Learners will develop an understanding of health and safety, infection control and waste management issues within the cleaning industry but will learn skills that can be transferred to other industries to ensure that clean and hygienic procedures are put in place and adhered to. Learners will also develop softer skills such as working with others. The optional units in this qualification allow full flexibility for learners as they can study general or specialist units relevant to the chosen area of development or employment in any combination.
